Urban Lounge for City Weekly's Favorites Showcase
Shortly after a performance at Piper Down for Science on Tap, Winter Grain will be sprinting over to the Urban Lounge to play in Salt Lake City Weekly's singer/songwriter showcase of local favorites from 2018. The Showcase is in celebration of their Local Music Issue hitting news-stands on March 1st. To make the most of the celebration, Winter Grain has reunited with the talented Tara Shupe on fiddle and mandolin, and Melissa Collins on cello (the full OGWG)!
Science on Tap @ Piper Down
For the fourth installment of Salt Lake City's Science on Tap, Dr. Samantha Joel will be leading a talk of her research on relationship matching in the modern world. Can science predict attraction? Can the matching algorithms of dating apps help you find your next bae? As a musical interlude to this great discussion, Winter Grain will be performing a 30 minute set of love songs to accompany the group discussions.
